The Good News

You can only be saved in the name of Jesus. There is no other name or religion by which this can be done. 

 

'Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Act 4:12

 Many people believe that there are many ways to God. I came to believe in Jesus Christ over twenty five years ago. I have not regretted a single day. As a minister my life is busy and fulfilling. I searched for many years, and was introduced to many forms of spiritual beliefs. My life have taken me down a searching path. I was brought up in a Catholic family, but family life and circumstance brought many changes. I had to find God for myself.

It was only in my mid thirties that I was introduced to this message in the book of John. To me, it meant I didn't have to go back down the institutional church route.

That was something that just did not sit well with me. However, I knew I needed God but did not know where to find Him.

It took a long time for someone to tell me about Him and to reveal the route.

​

It was something I had to decode in a way, but I had no problem in accepting it. It was what it say's. Jesus, I realised was the 'Way', and the 'Truth', and more than that the 'Light'came on to show me the path. 

I encourage you to seek the path. Pray and ask, and God will answer you. He truly will. You just have to believe. Please pray and see what God will do. Don't waste time. We do not now what tomorrow or in fact, the next five minutes.

John 3, Verse 6. Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”

5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.
